The Case of the Accommodating Valise


"The Case of the Accommodating Valise" first aired on May 23, 1948, on The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes radio show, starring starring John Stanley as Sherlock Holmes and Alfred Shirley as Dr. Watson. This is a modern recreation of an Edith Meiser Old Time Radio script featuring the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes investigates a series of jewel disappearances at railway stations. The Red-Throated League is the theatrical society of the Norwegian Explorers of Minnesota. They work with the Sherlock Holmes Collections of the University of Minnesota Libraries, where Ms. Meiser's scripts reside.
