Sherlock Holmes and the Shadow Watchers

    in Cinema

Here's the teaser for a (very !) low budget movie directed by Anthony DP Mann. I own the DVD and, indeed, the script is very interesting and conducted with the utmost respect for the canon. Anthony is a very kind, very modest and very likable man ! He also played Watson on the radio (and, as he humorously tells me: "I was more appreciated than in the role of Holmes"). :-) Passionate about cinema and 19th century literature, he also played Dracula, Scooge,The Phantom of the Opera and even William Gillette in a "biopic" on stage. I like his way of approaching what he loves with a camera, friends and very little budget. Anthony also directed a 25 minute version of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" but I haven't seen it. Continue, mon ami !!!
